Job summary

Primelife at Oakdene Care Centre in Mansfield is seeking a Night Support Worker to provide compassionate care to residents during the night. The role is available on a full or part-time basis and includes training to support residents with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions.

The position offers an hourly rate of £12.96–£13.32, with fully funded DBS, a comprehensive Holiday Pay scheme, and a Refer a Friend bonus up to £250.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them
• Providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support
• Assisting residents to participate in any decisions relating to their daily living arrangements
• Assisting residents with their personal care and in undertaking recreational activities
• Assisting residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep
• Promoting resident independence in the preparation of food and/or at mealtimes
• Working with other professionals to provide individualised care and development plans
