Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Night Support Worker to join our team at Kirklees Residential Home in Grimsby. This fixed-term role runs for 6 months with regular night shifts from 8pm to 8am, across a 7-day week. We offer competitive hourly pay, DBS funding, and a comprehensive holiday pay scheme.

Experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable, with full training provided. The role focuses on compassionate, patient care for residents living with learning disabilities and mental health

Prior experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable, but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them.
Providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support.
Assisting residents to participate in decisions relating to their daily living arrangements.
Assisting residents with personal care and in undertaking recreational activities.
Assisting residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep.
Promoting resident independence in the preparation of food and/or at mealtimes.
Working with other professionals to provide individualized care and development plans.
