Job summary

Prime Life is seeking caring Support Workers to join Oakdene Care Centre in Mansfield. Roles are available on a full or part-time basis with shifts between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week.

You will provide dignified support, companionship, and practical help to residents with learning disabilities and mental health needs in a well-designed environment. The position offers competitive hourly pay (£12.96–£13.32) with benefits including funded DBS, holiday pay, snacks on shift, and a Refer a Friend

Qualifications

Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a difference for residents.
Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

Providing respectful and dignified support to residents.
Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
Providing companionship while offering emotional and practical support.
Assisting residents in daily living decisions and activities.
Helping with personal care, recreational activities, and accompanying residents outside the home.
Promoting resident independence in meal preparation and at mealtimes.
Working with professionals to develop individualised care plans.
