Job summary

Remarkable Jobs is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager for a busy night operation in Colnbrook, Berkshire. You will lead supervisors, agency staff and trainees to drive productivity, stock accuracy and safe, efficient night-time workflow.

You will own overnight performance, manage staffing, training and 1-2-1s, ensure stock integrity and prepare the operation for the next day. The role is hands-on, fast-paced and requires a proactive leader.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse, logistics or distribution operation.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Hands-on, proactive management style with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisors, technicians, agency staff and trainees.
• Drive productivity, stock accuracy and operational performance.
• Manage warehouse workflow, returns, shortages and equipment movement.
• Resolve bottlenecks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee staffing, absence, holidays, and performance reviews.
• Coach and develop the team; maintain high Health & Safety standards.
• Ensure accurate stock and inventory records.
