Job summary

Merkur Slots UK Limited is seeking a Supervisor Nights in Stockport to lead venue teams, oversee opening/closing, and ensure top-quality service for customers. The role requires strong communication, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously as well as with a team.

The successful candidate will mentor team members, maintain high standards, drive promotional activities, and ensure safe, compliant operations across the venue, including cash handling and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within the gaming, retail, hospitality, or similar industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with leading and mentoring others.
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts (if venue is 24-hour).

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for opening, trading and closure of the venue.
• Assist the venue manager in day-to-day activities.
• Maintain high interior/exterior standards and housekeeping.
• Establish and maintain customer service standards and maximise income where possible.
• Promote marketing/promotional activities to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Support senior managers to maximise business opportunities within the venue.
• Ensure venue cash handling follows company procedures.
• Uphold security procedures and conduct random checks of floats/keys.
• Ensure safety of employees and customers at all times.
• Complete daily/weekly administration on time.
• Promote safeguarding and social responsibility while maintaining customer service.
• Discourage harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind.
