Job summary

MERKUR Slots in Dagenham is seeking a Supervisory professional to join our team on 40 hours per week, principally nights. The role focuses on leading venue teams, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of operation.

You will mentor team members, drive targets, and ensure safe, compliant and efficient venue performance. Night shifts are required; training and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within the gaming, retail, hospitality, or similar industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with leading and mentoring others.
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts (if your venue is a 24-hour operation).

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for opening, trading and closing the venue.
• Assist the venue manager in day-to-day activities.
• Maintain interior/exterior standards and housekeeping to a high level.
• Establish and maintain customer service standards to maximise income.
• Implement marketing/promotional activities to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Support senior managers to maximise business opportunities within the venue.
