Job summary

MERKUR Slots UK Ltd in Swansea is seeking a Venue Supervisor to lead daily operations, guest service and team performance. The role requires strong communication and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.

You will oversee opening, trading and closing, ensure standards, and drive revenue through good marketing and service. The position offers 40 hours per week, day or night shifts, with a pay rate of £13.53–£14.53 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor in gaming, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for opening, trading and closing of the venue.
• Assist the venue manager in day-to-day activities.
• Maintain high interior/exterior standards and housekeeping.
• Maximise revenue through marketing and promotional activities.
• Assist senior managers to maximise business opportunities within the venue.
• Ensure cash handling and security procedures are followed.
• Promote safeguarding and social responsibility.
