Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited is seeking a Senior Design MRB Engineer for its Belfast site to provide dedicated night-shift engineering authority across MRB activities. You will approve dispositions for manufacturing defects and resolve complex shop-floor issues in real time to maintain safe, on-time production.

The role requires experience with metallic/composite structures, CATIA V5, and strong communication across local and group teams.

Qualifications

• HNC in engineering with 3+ years of design engineering experience.
• Willingness to work a dedicated Night Shift pattern.
• Experience in metallic and composite structures and/or systems installation design.

Responsibilities

• Provide night shift engineering authority on MRB design activities.
• Dispositions for defects/concessions and repairs to keep production moving.
• Lead and coach junior design engineers and deliver progress reports.
