Job summary

Airbus Belfast Limited in Belfast, UK, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a dedicated night shift. You will provide technical leadership across a broad range of structures and systems installation activities while ensuring strict compliance with airworthiness standards.

The role requires a BSc/BEng in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of design engineering experience. On-site permanent role with a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant Design Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to an engineering team.
• Take full ownership of projects, meet milestones and budgets.
• Maintain design/airworthiness compliance across MRB activities.
