Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team on night shifts, delivering high-quality, personalised care in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist homes.

You will work a full-time 33-hour week, supporting residents to maintain dignity, independence, and security while coordinating with nurses and managers. Training and career development are provided to enhance your skills and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care.
• Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Background in person-centred care planning and caring for people with dementia.
• Brilliant positive energy and ability to get along with people.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain high standards of care.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in care delivery and administration of medication.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through activities for residents.
• Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with the team.
