Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, plan and deliver personalised care, support residents and their families, and work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to maintain safety and dignity.

You should have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care and be working toward Level 3 or equivalent, with a genuine commitment to kindness and high-quality record keeping.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate kindness and person-centered care.
• Strong record-keeping and time-management skills.
• Able to lead a team of Care Assistants and coordinate with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Assist Registered Nurse and Care Manager in delivering care.
• Plan and implement care that supports residents’ security, dignity and independence.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with families when needed.
