Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a night shift role (33 hours per week). You will lead a team of Care Assistants, deliver person-centred care, and work closely with Registered Nurses to ensure residents’ safety, dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include creating care plans, recording progress accurately, and supporting families. A Level 2 Diploma is preferred, with Level 3 progression encouraged.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Plan and implement personalised care plans.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Maintain accurate records and safeguarding practices.
