Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is hiring a Customer Assistant in our Food section to be at the frontline of the UK’s fastest growing retailer. You’ll deliver five-star service at pace, and embrace the transformation we’re driving, with a focus on product knowledge and customer engagement.

You’ll work night shifts (22:00–06:00) with an unsocial premium of £3.00 per hour for those hours. The role may require full-time hours during busy weeks in December.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Comfort with using digital tools (Sparks App, in-store devices) to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor, helpful and friendly service.
• Recommend and sell food products to meet customer needs.
• Maintain shelves, stock, and store presentation during shifts.
