Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Team Lead to manage overnight installations across the UK. The role involves leading a small team of technicians on-site, installing camera hardware, and ensuring installations meet company standards. A valid UK driving licence and reliable transport are required.

Contract is 6 months, 30 hours per week, with potential extension. You will oversee safety, training, and coordination with customers to deliver on-time, quality installations.

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Technician experience in field service, installation, or related field, with some supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians on site, allocating tasks and ensuring installations run to plan and schedule.
• Install camera hardware: mount, connect and configure per company standards, overseeing the team doing the same.
• Conduct pre-installation site checks to identify potential issues before installation.
• Act as primary customer contact on site, escalate and resolve issues to meet SLAs.
• Review and sign off on completed installations to ensure quality standards before handover.
