Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to complete camera hardware installations for customers across the UK. This 6-month fixed-term contract involves overnight work, 20 hours per week, and travel to sites with a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in installation or related roles.
• Strong technical aptitude with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Willingness to work night shifts and travel to sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware, mount, connect and configure per standards.
• Respond promptly to installation requests and meet SLAs.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities and parts used.
• Onboard/scanning products into the system.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during visits.
• Collaborate with team members to complete installations on time.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Meet or exceed KPI targets for speed and quality.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors and colleagues.
• Follow company policies at all times.
