Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Nights at Penrose Croft in Helston. The role involves managing medications, updating care plans, and mentoring junior staff, all within a busy night team. A NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is expected.

The position offers a structured night rota (3 on, 3 off) with a pay rate of £15.88 per hour, plus benefits such as induction training and DBS support.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience as a care assistant is beneficial.
• Ability to mentor staff and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of personal care following resident care plans.
• Manage and administer medication in line with policy.
• Mentor less experienced staff, leading by example as part of the care team.
• Maintain and update resident records on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
