Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a Deputy Manager/Care Team Leader for Penrose Croft, Helston. You will lead care teams, act as person in charge outside office hours, and ensure high standards of resident wellbeing and safety in a supported living environment.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 and offers an hourly rate of £16.92 for night shifts on a three on/three off rolling rota, with full induction and enhanced DBS as part of a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 required or equivalent.
• Experience leading care teams and supervising staff.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge outside office hours and ensure standards are maintained.
• Provide high-quality personal care following care plans and act as key worker.
• Ensure statutory requirements and infection control practices are followed.
• Undertake Move-In assessments and participate in care plan formulation.
• Order and administer medications and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information and supervise staff.
• Perform general care duties and complete quality audits and appraisals.
• Be on-call as part of a rota for emergencies.
