Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a compassionate Night Senior Care Assistant who can mentor others and deliver person-centred care throughout the night. You'll support the Night Care Team Leader and oversee medication administration and care plan reviews.

This permanent night role offers a structured rolling rota, a focus on safety and dignity, opportunities to develop your leadership skills, and the chance to make a real difference for residents every night within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Holds, or is working towards, an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing environment.
• Confident administering medication and maintaining records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues.
• Demonstrates compassion, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Can work effectively as part of a busy team while remaining calm under pressure.
• Committed to delivering exceptional resident care every night.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents throughout the night.
• Assist the Night Care Team Leader in leading and coordinating the night care team.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents and update care plans as needed.
• Safely administer medication and maintain medication records.
• Complete regular wellbeing and safety checks and respond to changes in residents' condition.
• Mentor and develop less experienced colleagues to maintain high standards.
• Monitor residents' health and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and on-call managers to ensure continuity of care.
