Job summary

RAC in the UK is seeking a Roadside Technician Nights for the North/East London area. You’ll join the Patrol division to deliver quick, confident roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support, starting and finishing your day at home to keep you close to your patch.

You’ll receive a market-competitive base salary of £48,121.87 (inclusive of night allowance) with an average OTE £43,000–£53,000.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years experience, or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Experience delivering roadside repairs and diagnostics is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end day at home, working within your local patch to get members back on the road.
• Provide confident, quick solutions and exceptional member service during breakdowns.
