Job summary

Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire is seeking a Night Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the estate during overnight hours, greeting guests, handling late arrivals, and supporting overnight requests with warmth and professionalism.

Based on a 40-hour contract, on target earnings are £33,804.80 per year, with a base hourly rate of £14.81 plus gratuities and service charge. The role includes night audit duties, essential administrative tasks, and maintaining a pristine reception and guest areas.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience. Experience of working nights or in a luxury property would be desirable.
• Experience with Opera/Opera Cloud is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests.
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results to deadlines.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail.

Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

The Role:

As a Night Receptionist at Estelle Manor, you will be the welcoming face of the estate throughout the night, creating a seamless and memorable experience for every member and guest. Whether greeting a late arrival, assisting with overnight requests or ensuring a smooth departure before dawn, you'll deliver thoughtful, intuitive service with warmth and professionalism.

Behind the scenes, you'll keep the estate running effortlessly by completing the night audit, supporting essential administrative tasks, and ensuring our reception and communal guest areas remain impeccably presented.

Who we are looking for?

The on target earning potential for this role is £33,804.80 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a hourly rate of £14.81, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.

About gratuities & service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
• It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £3,000 in addition to their annual salary.
