Job summary

Heartwood Collection is seeking a meticulous Night Porter for flexible overnight shifts (min 20 hours, 2–4 nights). You will support guest safety, perform cleaning, handle late check-ins, and assist with night audits.

The role emphasizes health & safety, property standards, and smooth operations outside peak hours. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a Night Porter/ Auditor role within hospitality, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently when night managers are off.

• You’re responsible, reliable, and have a keen eye for details.
• Well-organised and able to learn systems and audits for overnight.
• Ability to work alone when night managers are off.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Night Porter/Auditor in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Night Manager in ensuring guest safety and smooth overnight operations.
• Perform cleaning duties and maintain property standards.
• Handle late check-ins, early check-outs, and reservation checks.
• Support night audits, including fire, health & safety, and security checks.
• Prepare for breakfast service and provide shift handovers.
• Follow emergency procedures, including fire evacuations.
