Sarova Hotels is seeking a Night Porter to provide first-class overnight security and guest service. You will work at our Wakefield property, welcome guests, assist with late-night requests, and support front desk operations including check-ins and check-outs using Opera.

The role requires previous guest-facing hospitality experience, immaculate presentation, and good English communication. IT proficiency and a confident, friendly manner are essential; a willingness to assist with room service

Demonstrating exceptional customer service at all times and assisting with guest enquiries and requests politely and effectively. Maintaining the hotel safety and security procedures. Working with our Property Management System (Opera) to complete night audit processes, completing check in and check out and taking out-of-hours reservations. Preparation and service of food and drink for late bars and room service orders. Delivering guest mail, newspapers and express check-out invoices to bedrooms. Cleaning and tidying duties including setting up and presentation of meeting rooms and front of house for the next day. Attending training & completing e-learning modules to improve your skills and aid your development In line with the requirements of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
