Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa is seeking a dedicated Night Concierge/Porter to welcome guests, maintain security, and keep the property ready for the morning team. The role involves monitoring the building, handling night-time service, and logging incidents as they occur.

You will need hotel experience, comfort with night shifts, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and licensing standards. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guests with a warm welcome and maintain a secure hotel overnight.
• Ensure all revenues are charged and keys securely kept.
• Carry out morning checks and support with housekeeping as needed.
• Check in/check out guests using the PMS system.
• Maintain safety by ensuring fire safety equipment and doors are compliant.
• Respond to guest requests during the night and support with conference/room setup as needed.

Who are we

Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa is an 87-bedroom hotel beautifully placed in the Shropshire countryside, with a full leisure club, health spa, meetings and events to compliment the hotels oak room restaurant and 1630 bar. A 4* hotel, perfectly situated for business and leisure, sat within 15 acres of gardens and woodland. Excellent service, quality food and beverage, and an overwhelming sense of teamwork are key to our success.

Role Responsibilities

You'll be the first impression providing guests and visitors with a warm welcome and great service whilst ensuring the hotel is kept safe and secure overnight. You will have a forward thinking approach and be a team player, going the extra mile to ensure the hotel is perfectly presented ready for our guests in the morning.

• To establish a friendly and helpful attitude to all guests and staff and deal with any reasonable requests from guests in a professional, timely manner.
• Ensure all revenue is correctly charged and monies & keys are all securely kept at all times.
• Carry out timely and efficient morning call service as required.
• Order newspapers and deliver where necessary.
• Support with the cleaning of all public areas, bars and function rooms as requested, removal of room service trays from bedroom corridors as necessary.
• Service of drinks and light refreshments during the night according to guest requests.
• To ensure all documentation, i.e. checks/bills are completed as necessary and carried out as per the hotel and company standards.
• To be able to check in/check out guests using the PMS system.
• To strive and anticipate customer needs whenever possible and react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Preparation of conference/board rooms as per function sheets and company brand standards.
• Ensure all corridors are clear; fire extinguishers are present and accessible and fire doors are secure, reporting any concerns immediately to the Duty Manager or Senior Manager on site.
• Conduct a minimum of 3 floor safety checks during the night ensuring all incidents, accidents or injuries which occur on the premises are logged and reported to the Duty Manager immediately.
• To be aware of and comply with the Alcohol Licensing Laws in England and Scotland (where applicable)
• Must attend all H&S, Fire and Food Safety Training as directed by your Line Manager.
