Job summary

The Abbey in Great Malvern is seeking a Night Porter to ensure overnight security and deliver first-class guest service. You will handle front desk tasks, assist with night audit, and support late bar/room service orders while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Applicants should have prior guest-facing hospitality experience, immaculate presentation, and strong English communication. IT proficiency and knowledge of Opera are preferred to support PMS operations.

Demonstrating exceptional customer service at all times and assisting with guest enquiries and requests politely and effectively. Maintaining the hotel safety and security procedures. Working with our Property Management System (Opera) to complete night audit processes, completing check in and check out and taking out-of-hours reservations. Preparation and service of food and drink for late bars and room service orders. Delivering guest mail, newspapers and express check-out invoices to bedrooms. Cleaning and tidying duties including setting up and presentation of meeting rooms and front of house for the next day. Attending training & completing e-learning modules to improve your skills and aid your development In line with the requirements of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
