Qualifications

• Previous night porter experience or hotel host experience is desirable.
• Confident in all aspects of guest relations.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests during the night with a warm and personal touch.
• Assist in the hotel's general running and set up for the next day.
• Conduct end-of-day procedures and safety checks.

Job Description

Are the ‘face of the Mercure White Hart Salisbury’, extending a warm welcome to our guests during the night, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.

Assist in the general running of the hotel at night and support other departments to set up for the next day.

Are an autonomous and passionate individual, dedicated to continuously improving the quality of the hotel's services.

Undertake PMS end of day procedures and hotel safety checks to make sure everyone in our hotel is safe and looked after.

You should be confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests including those who require special attention.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous night porter experience or hotel host experience (desirable)
• Customer service experience and working with the public(desirable)
• Ability to work alone throughout the night
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to use yourinitiative and to follow written / verbal instructions
• Knowledge of food safety & hygiene
• Knowledge of general health & safety procedures
