RAD Hotel Group is seeking a Night Porter for Fairfield House Hotel in Scotland. This part-time role focuses on guest service during the night shift, ensuring smooth hotel operations, safety, and support for events setup. You will also help with porter duties and night audit tasks.

We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team at Fairfield House Hotel. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service during the night shift, ensuring the smooth running of hotel operations, and maintaining high standards of service and safety for all guests. You will also be involved in general portering duties, including setting up function spaces for the following day's business.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing bar service to guests during the night, ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment.
• Setting up function rooms for weddings, conferences and other events.
• Responding to guest requests, checking in late arrivals and ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and its guests throughout the night, including regular checks of public areas and rooms.
• Assisting with luggage and deliveries, and ensuring the hotel remains clean and organised.
• Completing required night audit duties, including balancing the financial records for the day.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or security concerns to the relevant departments.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
• A professional and friendly demeanour, with a strong work ethic.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred.
