Seamill Hydro Hotel, part of the RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a Night Porter to join the team at Seamill Hydro. This part‑time role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service during the night shift, supporting hotel operations and safety, and assisting with function-space setups for the following day’s events.

You’ll be involved in bar service at night, event setups, guest check-ins, and balancing daily financial records.

Qualifications

• Night porter experience in hospitality preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be over 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Bar service to guests during the night.
• Assist with wedding/event setup in function rooms.
• Handle late check-ins/late arrivals and guest requests promptly.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and premises overnight.
• Assist with luggage, deliveries and keep areas clean and organized.
• Complete night audit duties and balance daily records.
• Report maintenance or security issues to relevant teams.

We are looking for aNight Porter to join our team at Seamill Hydro. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service during the night shift, ensuring the smooth running of hotel operations, and maintaining high standards of service and safety for all guests. You will also be involved with general portering duties setting function spaces for the following days business.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Bar service to guests during the night, ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment.
• Wedding and event setups in function rooms for weddings, conferences, and other events.
• Responding to guest requests, check-in/check-out of late arrivals, and ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and its guests throughout the night, including regular checks of public areas and rooms.
• Assisting with luggage, deliveries, and ensuring the hotel remains clean and organized.
• Completing required night audit duties, including balancing the financial records for the day.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or security concerns to the relevant departments.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
• A professional and friendly demeanour, with a strong work ethic.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Drivers license and access to own vehicle preferred.
