Job summary

Marriott International is seeking a Night Manager to safeguard guests and staff while ensuring a first-class service standard at Manchester property. You will lead the front office team, conduct nightly audits, and drive room occupancy strategies with up-selling to maximise revenue.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of guests and staff during the night.
• Deliver first-class service to all guests.
• Conduct a minimum of 3 security walks per shift focusing on fire safety and security.
• Perform nightly audit and liaise with accounts for accuracy.
• Complete end-of-day tasks including posting charges and running backups.
• Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling to promote services.
• Adhere to credit policies for card and cash handling.
• Represent senior management in their absence and take responsibility for the hotel.
• Record and resolve issues or emergencies promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel products, pricing, and local area.
• Implement security and emergency procedures as required.
• Handover to Early staff/Duty Manager.
• Attend training and support Night Team development.
• Follow front-of-house system procedures.
• Conduct yearly/appraisal processes with team members.
