Job summary

DX is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the service centre for our delivery operations, driving cost efficiency, service quality and workforce management. You will oversee a team of staff, subcontractors and drivers, manage premises and equipment, and champion the DX Delivered Exactly promise.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry.
• Experience running a multi-shift logistics operation.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and manage relationships.
• Experience managing a diverse workforce including subcontractors and drivers.
• Experience managing direct cost budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service centre operations to meet budgeted service, cost and quality targets.
• Oversee all employed colleagues, subcontractors and drivers.
• Manage premises, equipment and consumables for cost-effective, high-quality performance.
• Drive change to deliver an integrated service centre operation with the GM.
