Job summary

Care in Mind provides residential services for young people aged 16-30 years old who may experience mental health challenges. Our therapeutic approach supports individuals to achieve personal goals and transition to adult life.

The Night Support Worker role is based at our Bromborough home, requires a full UK manual driving licence, and involves night shifts with weekends and bank holidays. Training is provided and ongoing mentoring is available.

Qualifications

• Night shifts, weekends and bank holidays required.
• Full UK Driving Licence (Manual).
• Must attend training on weekdays during employment.
• Good written skills to write basic reports and record information accurately.
• Basic IT skills and ability to use online care system and write emails.

Responsibilities

• Support wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills for young people.
• Update online care records and provide handovers to day staff.
• Medication administration and incident management/de-escalation.
• Maintain a tidy, homely environment at the home.
• Provide support with daily living activities and activities outside home.
