Job summary

Care In Mind is seeking a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker (Driver Only) in the Ramsbottom area. The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, night shifts from 8.30pm to 7.30am, weekends and bank holidays, and part-time hours (22 per week).

Qualifications

Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Attending training throughout employment on weekdays.
Basic IT skills, completing forms and emails.
Good written skills for basic reports and record keeping.
Good verbal communication and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

Update online care records and provide accurate handovers to day staff.
Medication administration as required.
Support young people with daily living tasks and activities.
Ensure the home environment is tidy and safe.
Respond to incidents with de-escalation and maintain calm during emergencies.
Participate in training and reflective practice as part of continued development.
