Leonardo Hotel Middlesbrough is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to lead the Night Crew, balance the day’s business at night, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction. You’ll supervise operations, handle guest queries, and maintain high standards, with weekends included and a focus on a friendly, efficient guest experience.

The role requires supervisory or strong front office/night team experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with payment systems.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or strong front office/night team experience.
• Excellent communication to welcome and depart guests.
• Flexible for night shifts, including weekends.
• Able to balance daily business during night audit.
• Organised and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively.
• Reliable, trustworthy with guest safety and team duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Night Crew and ensure high standards.
• Familiar with arrivals, departures, and requests.
• Respond promptly to guest queries and keep areas tidy.
• Follow company standards for check-in/check-out.
• Handle guest complaints amicably to ensure satisfaction.
• Train and motivate colleagues.
• Complete cash, float, till procedures and night audit reports.
• Run backups and ensure guest safety during night shifts.
