Job summary

Great Places Housing Association is seeking a dedicated Housing & Wellbeing Assistant to join our team in Manchester. You will be the first point of contact for residents, handling inquiries by phone, email and in person while upholding safety and safeguarding procedures.

You will contribute to a courteous, professional service, support occupancy terms, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, secure, and well-run premises during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Qualified to minimum level 3 in English and Maths.
• Evidence of IT skills.
• Experience of providing a customer facing, front line service in a busy environment while maintaining a courteous and helpful manner.
• Ability to develop, and project, a positive image of Great Places through interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and timely under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective liaison with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve problems and find information.
• Use of the relevant range of Microsoft Office applications and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries via phone, email or in person as first point of contact.
• Maintain safety and security of customers, colleagues, visitors and contractors.
• Provide guidance to customers to fulfil occupancy terms.
• Record and respond to complaints and compliments.
• Address safeguarding concerns in line with Great Places procedures.
• Report communal repairs and conduct health and safety inspections.
