Job summary

Irwell Valley Homes is seeking a Night Coordinator to support residents in our Greater Manchester night services. You will work a 36/48 hour night rota, ensure safety and wellbeing of residents, and maintain building security.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS and the ability to work nights, including weekends and bank holidays. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality housing support services across the night shift.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people and/or vulnerable adults with complex support needs.
• Experience of working within supported housing, social care or a customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, record-keeping, interpersonal and IT skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding, risk management and professional boundaries.
• The ability to remain calm, use sound judgement and respond appropriately in challenging situations.
• Experience of maintaining accurate records and undertaking administrative tasks.
• The ability to work independently, use initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
• An understanding of issues affecting vulnerable adults, including mental health, behaviour management and support needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the service and undertaking light cleaning duties.
• Working as part of a wider supported housing team to ensure high standards of service delivery and client support.

MOUP Night Working Hours: 36/48 hours per week, with services operating overnight, Monday to Sunday, worked on a shift rota of 3 nights on, 3 nights off. Shifts are 8:00pm to 8:00am (Night Shift), Please note that this position is lone working.

This role will help us provide a safe, secure and supportive environment for clients living within our supported housing services in Greater Manchester. Working throughout the night, you will play an important role in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of residents, maintaining the security of the building, responding appropriately to incidents and supporting the smooth running of the service.
