Job summary

YMCA St Paul’s Group in London seeks a Housing and Support Assistant (Nights) to provide compassionate housing and resident support across sites. You will handle reception duties, respond to queries, process payments, and help uphold safety and wellbeing for residents and visitors.

You will be the first point of contact for new residents, deliver basic first aid, act as fire marshal, and support safety checks while fostering a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or frontline customer service is beneficial.
• Ability to handle a variety of duties and maintain safety.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: interactions set the tone for high‑quality resident experiences.
• Versatility at its Best: manage reception tasks, mail, repairs, payments, and safety duties.
• Safety and Security: act as first aider and fire marshal, patrol and protect residents.
• Welcoming and Listening: greet residents, address concerns, report issues, support neighbours.
• Join a Supportive Team: contribute to a collaborative housing advisory team delivering care.
