P3 Charity (People Potential Possibilities) is recruiting a Night Hostel Worker to join our 24-hour complex needs service in Wolverhampton. The role covers night shifts and involves supporting residents with housing-related needs, safety, and wellbeing.

You will build rapport, stay calm under pressure, and help residents work towards their individual goals while maintaining accurate records and ensuring building safety through the night.

Qualifications

• Experience in night-time housing or care settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergencies.

• Provide housing-related support to residents in a 24-hour complex needs service.
• Monitor health and safety, manage incidents, and maintain records.
• Deliver evening activities and support residents with their individual goals.
• Build rapport with residents and work collaboratively with the team.

Job description

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off - Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8:00pm to 8:15am.

Work Base: Site based

We are looking for a compassionate, adaptable Night Hostel Worker who is committed to providing quality housing related support for people living in our 24-hour complex needs supported accommodation. If you’re passionate about supporting vulnerable people and helping them move forward in their lives, this could be the perfect role for you. We are looking for someone who can build rapport, stay calm under pressure, and bring a people-first approach to everything you do.

We are looking for a night owl with excellent communication skills to work in our complex need's 24-hour accommodation service in Wolverhampton. You will need to have a strong people focus, and a creative and innovative approach to working with people. The role includes working alongside the people on their individual goals, carrying out evening activities and keeping accurate records. You will be responsible for health and safety of the building, managing incidents and ensuring that our people are safe through the night. Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of the issues facing those who are using our services are essential requirements for this role. You will be provided with full training but must be friendly, proactive, positive, approachable, and non-judgemental.
