The Grand Brighton is seeking a Night Porter to support the Front Office team and help deliver exceptional guest care. You’ll be at the heart of the hotel, assisting guests with luggage, answering requests, and helping with late-night room service in a busy, vibrant environment.

Responsibilities include safety checks, lobby cleanliness, luggage handling, and assisting with emergency procedures alongside the Night Manager; a detail-oriented approach is essential for presenting breakfast setups

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and assist guests arriving late or departing early in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assisting guests with luggage, and assist with guest requests efficiently.
• Providing advice on hotel facilities as well as local places of interest.
• Valet parking cars.
• Preparing and serving Late Night Room Service food and drinks.
• Monitor the premises and conduct regular security checks to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Marble polishing once a week.
• Hoover and maintain the cleanliness in the lobby, reception, toilets, public areas and hotel front during the night shift.
• Assist in preparing the hotel lobby for the next day’s operations, including water station.
• Ensure taxi bookings are correctly scheduled and up to date.
• Support the Night Manager with emergency procedures if needed (e.g., fire alarm, medical emergency).
• Report maintenance issues and any unusual occurrences to the relevant departments.
• Be detail-oriented: you’ll be setting out ambient breakfast items in the morning, and it needs to look great.
• Along with your other colleagues in the Night team, take responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and our guests.
• Carry out regular Fire Walks each night.
