Job summary

The Zetter Group in London is seeking a Night Duty Manager to oversee the property's overnight operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the safe, smooth running of the hotel through the night.

This hands-on leadership role requires calm, proactive problem-solving and the ability to make decisive decisions on shift while managing late arrivals, early departures, guest inquiries, and nightly financial procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight operation of the property, ensuring guest experiences and the safe, efficient running of the hotel through the night.
• Act as senior decision-maker on shift during overnight hours, ensuring guest satisfaction, security, and operational continuity.
• Manage late arrivals and early departures, handle guest queries and incidents with professionalism and discretion.
• Complete nightly financial and administrative procedures and maintain high standards across the property overnight.
• Remain calm, organised and effective in an independent overnight hospitality environment.

The Role

The Night Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the overnight operation of the property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the hotel throughout the night.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement, and the ability to confidently manage overnight front-of-house and operational responsibilities. The Night Duty Manager acts as the senior decision-maker on shift during overnight hours, ensuring guest satisfaction, security, and operational continuity at all times.

The role involves managing late arrivals and early departures, handling guest queries and incidents with professionalism and discretion, completing nightly financial and administrative procedures, and maintaining high standards across the property throughout the night.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to remain calm, organised, and effective in an independent overnight hospitality environment.
