Job summary
The Club Company is seeking a dependable Night Porter to oversee front-desk operations during the night shift at our Exeter venue. You will be the main contact for guests, handling late check-ins, early check-outs, and overnight charges while ensuring a secure, welcoming environment.
You will balance accounts, monitor safety, assist guests, and coordinate night-time cleaning. Regular training and team meetings support your growth within our premium golf and country club group.
Qualifications
- Experience of comparable work in a hotel/hospitality environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage front-d desk operations during the night shift and liaise with guests for late check-ins and early check-outs.
- Reconcile charges from the previous day and balance financial accounts.
- Ensure the security of the hotel and guests, monitor key handling and turn off lights in unoccupied rooms.
- Assist guests with needs and oversee night-time cleaning to prepare spaces for the next day.
- Report maintenance issues, manage emergencies, and communicate with team via the portable phone.
- Attend regular training and team meetings to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards.
