Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a dependable Night Porter to oversee front-desk operations during the night shift at our Exeter venue. You will be the main contact for guests, handling late check-ins, early check-outs, and overnight charges while ensuring a secure, welcoming environment.

You will balance accounts, monitor safety, assist guests, and coordinate night-time cleaning. Regular training and team meetings support your growth within our premium golf and country club group.

• Manage front-d desk operations during the night shift and liaise with guests for late check-ins and early check-outs.
• Reconcile charges from the previous day and balance financial accounts.
• Ensure the security of the hotel and guests, monitor key handling and turn off lights in unoccupied rooms.
• Assist guests with needs and oversee night-time cleaning to prepare spaces for the next day.
• Report maintenance issues, manage emergencies, and communicate with team via the portable phone.
• Attend regular training and team meetings to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards.

As a Night Porter, you will manage late check-ins, early check-outs, and reconcile charges from the previous day. You will be responsible for the security of the hotel and its guests, ensuring smooth communication with guests and team members through the portable phone. Your duties include monitoring key handling, turning off lights in unoccupied rooms, assisting guests with any needs, and overseeing night-time cleaning operations to ensure all areas are prepared for the following day. Additionally, you'll balance financial accounts, report any maintenance issues, and be prepared to manage emergency situations when needed. To help you grow in your role, you'll attend regular training sessions and team meetings, ensuring we continue to improve and maintain excellence in all areas.

• We operate a 7-days a week business, including weekends and holidays as required
