Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking a Night Porter to help provide a welcoming service and maintain hotel security overnight. The role supports the daytime reception team and serves as a key point of contact for guests during the night.

You’ll carry out front-of-house duties, respond to guest requests, and ensure a safe, well-managed environment. Prior night porter experience is helpful, but reliability and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or night porter roles is helpful but not essential.
• We are looking for someone responsible, approachable and able to work independently.
• Strong focus on customer service and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and respond to their needs.
• Provide friendly, professional service throughout the night.
• Ensure security and safety of the hotel during night hours.
• Conduct regular security checks and log findings.
• Follow emergency procedures and lone-working policies.
• Assist guests with luggage and address issues for a pleasant stay.
