Job summary

Farmhouse Inns is seeking a Night Porter to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff and the hotel during night hours. You will join a supportive team and have opportunities to grow and develop your skills in a hospitality-focused environment.

The role prioritises guest experience, high standards, and clear communication, with a focus on late check-ins, safety procedures, and incident response across the night shift.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop your skills.
• Eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Be the first point of contact for late arrival check-ins and walk-ins.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security are the top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, safely and efficiently evacuate all guests and team members from the business.
• Answer telephone enquiries and resolve customer complaints to ensure every guest enjoys their stay.
