Job summary

Salvation Army Homes is seeking a Night Concierge to provide a waking, overnight on-site presence at The Limes, Longsight, Manchester. You will help ensure the safety and wellbeing of 26 young men aged 18-25, aligning with our values and behaviours.

This role is a Lone Working Night Concierge position within a committed team." You will work a 4 on/4 off rota from 10pm to 8am, including weekend shifts, to maintain a secure and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Confident and capable communicator with de-escalation skills.
• Ability to build trusting professional relationships.
• High resilience in challenging situations.
• Asset-based approach to empower residents.
• Experience working with homeless or vulnerable groups.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents and build supportive relationships.
• Explain responsibilities under Licence Agreement and Good Neighbour Agreement.
• Respond to emergencies and contact services as needed.
• Ensure safety and security by monitoring CCTV and conducting checks.
• Perform health and safety checks and routine patrols.
• Report and follow up on property repairs and maintenance.
