Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Night Support Worker to join our team at Gilby House Nursing Home, Winterton. Roles available for full or part time, with shifts from 8pm to 8am across a 7-day week. Join a caring team committed to residents with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

We offer hourly pay of £12.96–£13.32, fully funded DBS, comprehensive holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme. Training provided and ongoing support from the Quality Matters team.

Qualifications

• Patient, understanding and respectful of residents' individual abilities.
• Full training is provided.
• Prior experience as a care worker is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
• Provide companionship with emotional and practical support.
• Assist residents in daily living decisions and personal care.
• Encourage participation in recreational activities and meals.
• Support residents to retire for the night and sleep well.
• Work with others to develop individualised care plans.
