Job summary

Prime Life is seeking caring Support Workers for a role at Gilby House Nursing Home, Winterton. The position offers 19.25 hours per week with flexible full- or part-time options, and competitive hourly pay (£12.96–£13.32 internal).

You’ll help residents with daily living, provide companionship, and support independent living within a small home for 22 residents. Training is provided; prior care experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Embraces a caring nature with a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful and dignified support to residents.
• Encourage residents to achieve the best quality of life.
• Offer companionship and emotional/practical support.
• Assist with daily living decisions and activities.
• Support independence in meals and personal care where appropriate.
• Collaborate with professionals to create individual care plans.
