Job summary

HC-One is seeking an enthusiastic Care Assistant to support residents across The Gardens and Elmwood House on night shifts (33 hours per week). You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and social engagement under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring each resident maintains dignity and individuality.

You will contribute to a caring environment, attend safeguarding training, and participate in team efforts to deliver high-quality care across our dementia,

Qualifications

• Support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents.
• Provide personal care including washing, dressing, hygiene and meals.
• Assist with daily activities in the home and adapt to residents’ individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, support residents with dignity and respect.
• Respond with compassion to distressed residents and support end-of-life care as needed.
• Attend safeguarding training and follow safeguarding procedures.
