Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts to deliver compassionate, person-centered care in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist homes. You will lead a team, maintain records, assist with medications and support residents and their families with dignity and independence.

You’ll ideally hold a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care, work towards Level 3, and bring knowledge of dementia care. We offer extensive training and a wide range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent, and working toward Level 3.
• Experience in person-centered care planning for residents.
• Knowledge of caring for people with dementia is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate resident records and care plans.
• Assist with medication administration and coordinate with Registered Nurse.
• Provide social and recreational activities to support physical/mental wellbeing.
