Job summary

Quantum Care's Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth is seeking a Night Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care during the night shift, supporting residents with dignity and respect. This full-time role is 30 hours per week with weekday night pay of £14.14 and weekend pay of £15.14 per hour, and includes shift work from 9.30pm to 7.30am.

Training is provided and applicants must be 18 or over; the home offers a welcoming team, modern facilities and a commitment to making

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth

As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You'll Bring

• You'll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You'll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
• Ensuring residents are safe and comfortable through the night.
