Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Night Care Assistant at Anson Court, Welwyn Garden City. You will support residents with compassionate, person-centred care during night shifts, ensuring comfort and independence.

Shifts run 9:30pm–7:30am, 30–37 hours per week, with weekdays and alternate weekends. Training starts on day one, with career development opportunities and enhanced weekend pay.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; full training provided.
• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Willing to undertake Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Support daily activities to promote independence.
• Follow individual care plans and work within a team.
• Ensure residents are safe and comfortable overnight.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our welcoming Care Home Anson Court based in Welwyn Garden City. Anson Court is a 75 bed residential care home which is welcoming, values driven based team where collaboration, compassion, respect and person-centred care is at the heart of everything they do.

As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You'll Bring

• You'll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You'll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Training will be provided.
• A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
