Quantum Care is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join Mayfair Lodge Care Home in Potters Bar. You will provide compassionate person-centred care, support residents with daily living tasks and help maintain independence in a warm, welcoming setting.

No prior care experience is required as full training is provided; you’ll join a 62-bed home with a strong team, excellent induction, career development, weekend and bank holiday shift options, and a supportive workplace.

Care Assistant

Contract: Full Time/Part Time - Perm

Hour: 29.5 hours per week

Pay: £13.61 per hour weekdays & £14.61 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm - Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Mayfair Lodge Care Home in Potters Bar. Our 62 bed, is set in the heart of Potters Bar with beautifully landscaped surroundings. The home provides a warm, supportive environment where residents and colleagues can truly thrive.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You'll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
